President, Author, Award Winning Charity Director, Mother, and leader of the pack when it comes to Lyme Disease, Karen’s presence in the community can be felt in every step forward made in the last 30 years. Hosting rallies in DC, educating lawmakers, creating working relationships with sitting congress and senate members, to working with patients to ensure their voices are heard, her disruption of the perpetuated processes in the government is unlike any other in the community, and has no plan to stop.

From speaking engagements in the US, to presenting the current situation in the US to a European conference of doctors, her drive for clarity and full transparency with Tick Borne Diseases doesn’t end at one shore.

Digital Director for the LDF. Her focus as an artist has helped rebrand the Lyme Disease Foundation moving into a new direction with an expanded eye on digital media production, and the importance of the LDF’s presence online. From the curation of this website, to the production of printed materials for conferences and business cards, she has solely been responsible for all design work at the LDF as of 2019.
