-- LYMErix
has been WITHDRAWN. With
the litigation flying and questions about their integrity, We
are sure the FDA had a hand in GlaxoSmithKline's decision to
recall the vaccine. In the summer of 2001, the LDF received a
Freedom of Information (FOI) response from the FDA regarding
the vaccine. While most of the material was whited-out, what
we found was shocking. Click for a synopsis(html) (pdf) or a more complete

-- Vaccines, immunizations or inoculations are recommended for
every child born in the United States. A vaccination shouldn't
hurt a child but sometimes they do. Before your child takes the
risk, find out what it is.

of the Jan 31 meeting on LymeRix. (Find the Vaccines & Related
Biological Products Advisory Committee section at the bottom
of the page and then go to Day 1/31). "I was here two years
ago, and the safety profile has changed, and it has changed for
one real reason. Although the information presented on the 8,000
or so that have had the vaccine suggests this seem to be safe
in the majority of individuals. There is now, which wasn't a
few 'years ago, the suggestion that in a minority of individuals,
a few of-those this vaccine can produce a devastating, a generalized
chronic pain syndrome that really disrupts lives. And there was
not a hint of that at all." Dr. Coyle SUNY Stony Brook
