2/27/01 -- LYMErix has been WITHDRAWN. With the litigation flying and questions about their integrity, We are sure the FDA had a hand in GlaxoSmithKline's decision to recall the vaccine. In the summer of 2001, the LDF received a Freedom of Information (FOI) response from the FDA regarding the vaccine. While most of the material was whited-out, what we found was shocking. 5/31/01 -- Vaccines, immunizations or inoculations are recommended for every child born in the United States. A vaccination shouldn't hurt a child but sometimes they do. Before your child takes the risk, find out what it is.
